Ok guys, it’s late September, it’s time to start planning for everyone’s favourite excuse to party, Halloween!

Let’s see what’s on in and around Adelaide this year…

Now, I’m an understanding kinda gal. I get that different people want different things out of their Halloween. Some people want to shed their human skin and let the true freaky lizard queen out for a weekend, others want to get Rickety-Rekt and some want some family-friendly fun that they can post on their Insty. Here’s a section of events for everyone!

~Spooky~

So, this comes first because it’s obviously my favourite. Things that are limited-edition spooky happening around Adelaide are:

Locked Up Open Air Cinema

Horbland Graveyard

First confession, I’ve never been to a haunted house. They aren’t as popular here as they seem to be in the States, where you can get some super extreme ones, like this.

What: A Haunted House style horror maze based in a house in Woodcroft.

Where: 5 McCormack Crescent, Woodcroft

When: Friday, October 27 8pm – Late,
Saturday ,October 28 8pm – Late
Tuesday, October 31 7pm – 10pm

Cost: $7 per time through. $22 for VIP skip-the-line access.

LockedUp Open Air Cinema

What: An immersive horror maze followed by a screening of The Conjuring, all in the Old Adelaide Gaol.

Where: The Old Adelaide Gaol – 18 Gaol Rd, Thebarton

When: Friday 13 October 2017   6pm – 11pm

What: A family friendly Halloween event with spine-chilling attraction!

Heath’s House of Horror

What: A QUEER Halloween party WELL YES PLEASE

What: Special me and pop-punk club night with special Halloween cocktails and prizes for best costume

Halloween on King William

What: Dressing up and trick or treating along the King William Road district

What: Halloween dress-up celebration at the Zoo!

Where: Adelaide Zoo, Frome Road

Adelaide Gaol’s Trick or Treat Trail

What:  A carnival-atmosphere trail for kids

Where: The Old Adelaide Gaol – 18 Gaol Rd, Thebarton
